The split roof model allows for superior airflow, which is imperative for healthy plant growth. The unique design allows the entire length of the roof to open and via air convection, cooler air enters through the lower vents and pushes hot air out the roof vent. The bird screen provided prevents birds, pests, etc. entering the roof opening.

The shade house is popular for orchids, ferns, indoor plants, palms or any shade loving plants. There is a range of colours and densities of shade available. The shade house protects plants from the harsh effects of the sun and wind damage.

The combination house is the best of both worlds! The combination house comprises two separate rooms with a wall and door dividing both. Propagate in the heated area and harden off in the shade area or grow heat loving plants in the solar end and sun sensitive plants in the shade cloth end. Available in all sizes.

Our hot houses are perfect for growing just about everything from propagating seeds or cuttings, growing flowers or tropical plants, producing your own organic vegetables, herbs and fresh food. Designed for year round use; this is possible due to the increased temperature inside the house, which allows plants to continue to grow even when the days and nights are cooler. High summer temperatures are no longer a problem with our unique split roof system, which provides superior ventilation.

All of our shade and hot houses are manufactured from 20 x 20mm BHP steel tube, galvanised inside and out. They are designed in 'kit form' for easy assembly (all holes are pre-drilled ~ one "Phillips Head" screwdriver needed to install). Designed to be long lasting, with only high quality Australian products used in manufacturing with special attention given to design & detail.

Our "Hot House" fitted covers are sewn in one piece using durable, U.V. treated 'solarshield' (horticultural film), providing the ideal long-lasting environment for your plants. For added airflow we include two ventilation flaps front and back for all our Standard and Split Roof style hot houses.

All houses come with full width hinged door, screws, pegs for footings, frameshield tape (hot houses only), lockable door handle, set of easy 'do it yourself' instructions.

Our "Split Roof" house is our most popular house and it is designed for maximum air-flow with the roof opening the entire length of the house. This ensures hot air will escape, providing superior airflow - which is imperative for successful plant growth. To use simply push the lift bar upwards to open the roof section. This allows hot air to escape quickly and easily. The lift roof section pivots on the right and lifts on the left, this can be custom made to open the opposite way if preferable to avoid extreme prevailing winds blowing into the house.

A Bird screen in white shadecloth is included with the split roof house - this covers the open roof area to stop pests and insects entering the house.

Footings:
The footings supplied are heavy duty pegs. The pegs secure the house to the ground. If you require concrete fixings instead of pegs, please let us know.. To secure the pegs into the ground, you will need to purchase concrete mix from your local hardware store.
