Foil Heat Mats With Analogue Dial Thermostat
Give your plants the best start possible! Gives excellent germination and a high striking rate for cuttings and seeds. Correct soil temperature stimulates plant growth, thus maximizing yield and quality. Bottom heat cables and foils provide the commercial or home hobbyist with the means to efficiently control root temperature in young plants whilst maintaining a micro climate up to 45cm above the bed. The watt density is designed so that even on very cold nights, the bottom heat will keep the plants at the desired temperature. Bottom heat units are supplied ready to install, complete with a factory fitted weather proof analogue thermostat controller.
Thermostat range 0 - 40⁰C with a 1.5⁰C set differential, manual dial control, capillary temperature sensor.
Foil heat mats must be installed with an insulation material underneath, preferably 25mm-40mm thick polystyrene foam underlay. The foil heat mats should then be covered with a thick plastic material (for example builders black plastic) to protect from damage.
